A few things about rush requests:
- We charge a rush fee for all clients on any rush requests.
- Defining why this is a rush request is important. Some of the important information.
- Is there a deadline?
- What is the deadline?
- What happens if this done using normal workflows and timing?
- Is this an energency? Even if it may seem like an emergency, not everything actually qualifies. It’s an emergency if critical items are not active such as a website, landing page goes down and can’t be accessed. Making a request because we weren’t informed is not an emergency.
When is a rush appropriate?
- Website is down.
- Landing page has factually incorrect information.
- Landing page is down.
- Social post
When is a rush inappropriate?
- We weren’t informed of a deadline (ie print).
- The client did not provide feedback when requested.
